Colour Your World With Happiness

What do you do when you spoil  something?

When you feel it can't be fixed and should be thrown away.

I paint flowers over the problem....

This makes a change, it produces a new creation.

 Here's another problem.

All fixed and made ready to use again.
I used to love to paint... and what a difference some colour and effort can make.

Isn't this the same with life?
When things go wrong often we want to give up and hide away?
Yet there is nothing that can't be fixed...with a little love.

So many times I feel like throwing in the towel..
I have loads of excuses..
I'm getting too old.
I'm tired.
I can't be bothered.
Who cares anyway..
BUT...
Someone does, and His name is JESUS.

Jesus says to me: "Crystal I forgive you and I love you."
Place your name here, and read it again.
"................, I forgive you and I love you."
Doesn't that make you feel good!

 LORD!
Praise, O servants of the LORD,
Praise the name of the LORD!
Blessed be the name of the LORD From this time forth and forevermore!
From the rising of the sun to its going down The LORD's name is to be praised.
The LORD is high above all nations, His glory above the heavens.

Help for Peter

This is Peter a young Cambodian boy in desperate need of surgery.

How good it is to have children without problems such as this.
How terrible it must be, to look at your child, and not have the money to help.

I received this information from Deborah Jewel King, a lady who helps out,
What About Cambodia.
This is what she wrote:
"He was supposed to receive surgery last week but as it is so complex the
surgeons felt they could not perform it at CSC.org which provides free
assistance.  We now have a Russian surgeon who is going to perform the
Surgery this Monday and it will change this boys life forever, however the costs are $2000USD.  I have been working on this since July and we have come across many obstacles but am nearly at his finishing post.
We still need to raise an additional $650.00 USD to ensure he gets his smile back and have exhausted many avenues trying."

I know many of you reading this will say, I'd like to help, but, am unable.

Every cent counts.
Search your heart.
Look at Peter's face, and pray about it.
I am a pensioner myself now, but I have helped.

"Give, and it will be given (back) to you.
A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap.
For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.” Luke 6:48

My mother taught me the above principle.
As a woman raising five children alone, she gave to everyone who asked.
And...God Blessed Her.

News update: The fourth lot of floods for this year is expected!
Please add your prayer to mine for
Protection,
Safety,
Peace,
Health,
and Food to last.
Gods Blessings to you.

CYCLONE WARNING, QUEENSLAND

This is terrible and terrifying for many.
Cyclone Yasi.

We are expecting the largest cyclone EVER to hit Cairns, northern Queensland at midnight tonight.
The Biggest in Generations.
This cyclone is larger than cyclone Tracy that squashed Darwin in 1974.

Monster Category 5.

Winds will be up to 300klm/hour (186 miles).
It is a 400klm (249 miles) in diameter.

The eye is expected to be about 80klms.
Everyone has been advised to evacuate.
Beautiful Cairns is expected to go underwater.

For hundreds of miles down the Queensland coast everyone is heeding the warning.

We should be safe.
However, everyone has been warned to be careful.

"I am with you and will watch over you wherever you go,
and I will bring you back to this land.
I will not leave you until I have done what I have promised you."
Genesis 28:15

For those who belong to the Lord...we are never losers.
He is near us here on earth, or, we are gathered with Him in Heaven.

Flood Update

Just to give an update on the floods here in my state of Queensland.

As previously informed. Queensland is two and a half time the size of Texas.
Yes, its a huge state!!
At this time where I live in the middle section of the state known at the Sunshine Coast, there has been no rain for two days now, BUT, we are still flooded.
And we are still cut off. No food supplies in.
Our capitol of Brisbane is now under deluge.
All in all 75% of this state is under water and approximately 100,000 homes.
It is devastating and many of the News Readers look as if they have been crying.

Before flood photo of one Pizza restaurant.

Now flooded.

Just under the window, it has risen.

Telsta Telecommunications and a Real estate Office almost under water.
Then completely under

The main Highway looks like a river. light poles are reflected in the water.

Rascals Restaurant and hotel.

Reflections in the water make it look pretty. It makes you cry.

Thank God it is school holidays otherwise many parents would likely be searching for children.

Last night my grandson Elyshah 16yrs rang me from New South Wales where he is holidaying to find out if we were safe.
He lives here also, so I am very glad he is away and safe.

Elyshah, Joel and Luke, grandsons. All six foot and over.

Elyshah informed me that many are predicting the end of the world in 2012??
I informed him, that the end comes anyhow, at the time of our death!!
whenever that may be???
(Yes I do believe, there will be an 'End of theWorld')
None of us know, the day or the hour.
When a catastrophe hits, it gives a wake-up call.

Where do you stand in relation to your belief???
My heart falls when a person answers, I believe in evolution.
I say this to them.....
If I am wrong, then I have lost nothing...
But if you are wrong you face eternity separated from God and love.

WAKE-UP!!

The Day and Hour Unknown

“But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.

As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man.
For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark;
and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away.

That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man.
Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left.
Two women will be grinding with a hand mill; one will be taken and the other left.
“Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come.

But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what time of night the thief was coming, he would have kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into.
So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.
(Matthew 24: 36-44)

None of us know the day or the hour of our death!!
AND THAT IS THE END OF THE WORLD!!
For myself, I look forward to meeting the Lord.
Being embraced and welcomed into Glorious Heaven.
No more pain or sadness. No more hurt.
I, and my family are safe. Power is off to many.
We have problems connecting to the Internet.
We have problems staying connected!!
Please forgive me not responding as much as I'd like.

Shining * STARS *

You are all shining STARS glowing and twinkling out love.
I take nothing in life for granted and am praising God for all of you.
Know you are special, unique and beloved of the Lord.
It's not what happens to us in life, but how we react in times of adversity.

My Miracle:

*For my son Lee-Joel, that he and  his beautiful wife and son re-unite.
Grandson Izaiah and Lee-Joel (works in construction).

1 Corinthians 13:7-8
"LOVE bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

Love never fails."

*For my son Peter, to gain a beautiful Christian wife.

Peter
(Coach driver to the mines, far north Queensland.)

Proverbs 18:22
"He who finds a wife finds a good thing,
And obtains favor from the LORD."

Both son's know the Lord. Both are believers in the Word.

Worry or Trust

Who sits at the wheel of a racing car?
I would say a professional driver!!!
Yet even some-one as experienced as that, can still crash!
How would you go sitting beside an expert?
Could you sit securely...fully trusting in their skill?
Or...when the ride became rocky,
when a smash looked eminent,
would you reach across and try to take the wheel?
If you did, do you think you might save the day?
Or, would you simply add to the confusion and make the situation worse???

Making you think?

When we try to grab the wheel of life and do it on our own,
can we be the cause of a disaster?
The results may be something you might always regret.
This doesn't mean,...do nothing.
It means, stop worrying!!
Pray about it earnestly, THINK before acting,
and let God do the directing.

Looking at the word WORRY:
In the Old English the word is wyrgan
and in Old High German it is wurgen,
Both of these words mean, " to Strangle, to Choke"

The out-come of worry is anxiety and depression so in the end,
it may kill you.
The complete opposite is to read, trust and rely on what God's Word instructs..

Do Not Worry
"Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life,
what you will eat or drink; or about your body,
what you will wear.
Is not life more important than food,
and the body more important than clothes?
Look at the birds of the air;
they do not sow or reap or store away in barns,
and yet your heavenly Father feeds them.
Are you not much more valuable than they?
Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?
                (Matthew 6:25-27) God knows best!

When a fisherman castes out his net,
He MUST let go..
Otherwise, he won't receive!
It is the same for us!!!

Cast your cares on the LORD

and he will sustain you;
he will never let the righteous fall.
(Psalm 55:22)
