During our month long blogging break we did a lot of reading (both the kids and I) and recently this month we embarked on a gardening unit.
Reading books on gardening appeals to my boys if it has bugs in the story or something that interest them, so I gave it my best shot at finding some books that I thought they would enjoy.

What my children are reading March 28 to April 8
We have been reading books on Spring as part of our unit study on the season of Spring and animals in Spring . We took our time reading through our books but it was worth it.
The boys enjoyed our selection of books that explored what some animals do in Spring, trees and flowers that begin to bud or bloom and the activities people do I the Spring.

This week we continued our unit study on birds. During our first week of our study, we learned what birds are, which birds fly and which do not. We read books about birds, painted with feathers.
