Week in Review for August 24-28 (First week)

WEEK 1 in reviewWe started our new Homeschool year this August 24th. We took a month off and we needed it! The month off gave me an opportunity to review what I wanted to use for curriculum. To see what we are using, click here.

The boys are doing some subjects together such as Art, Science, and Bible lessons. My sons enjoy learning together and I am glad that they do.

A day in the Life of Homeschooling with Special Needs

We are participating in a "Not Back to School Blog Hop" sponsored by Darcy at Life with my 3 Boybarians each Monday in August. This week is "a day in the life week." Here is a day in the life of our family homeschool.

Website of the week: Stickers and Charts

StickersandCharts.com is this site I found a few weeks ago when I was searching for ideas to make a weather chart for our calendar math area at home. We live in a small space, a 2 bedroom 800 square foot apartment. It is 898 square feet if you count our outdoor patio area. Since we have two small bedrooms, we use our dining room and living area as our homeschool space; however we

My Trash to Treasure Bulletin Board (Seasons Tree)

When you homeschool in small space like us, you have to think of creative ways to use space. This week we have been getting our homeschool space ready for our first day which is August 17th. Some of our purchased curriculum arrived earlier this month and after opening the box we were left with this...packing material.
