Be Spontaneous

Surprise yourself!!

I just realised, I have lived my whole life like this.
No New Year Resolutions.
I just do it!
As long as I am not hurting someone else.

When returning to live in Australia with American hubby Ray,
we decided to travel around Oz.
So before settling in our home, we bought a caravan..
And off we went...

It was a different life.
Cruising the outback
Camping where it took our fancy.
Meeting wonderful people.
And eating when and how we liked.

Wherever the birds are, you will find Ray.
I'm sure they recognise him and pose..

"Hi Ray, forget the rest of them and make me your star."

Native birds, cockatoos here, travel alone or in huge flocks.

There is nothing as beautiful or serene than sunset with the light fading and the birds flying in.

Peace be still.....tranquility, early morn in a Caravan Park.

Look like gravestones?? Not so!
They are termite nests.
It's amazing how these insects know to build their nests with the narrow sides facing towards the sun. Limiting heat.
It took God to organise such an incredible fete.
Evolutionists have no explaination?????

You can't imagine how tall they are unless you stand beside them.
Ray (on right) is 5'10" so that gives you an idea.
It may also surprise you to know, these are formed from fecal matter.

With so much to see and do, it makes one ponder.
How can anyone dispute the validity of a creator God?

Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD rises upon you."
Isaiah 60:1

Thinking......Thoughts. ???

Do you have bad thoughts?

Do you feel angry at others?

Do you allow these thoughts to rule your day?

If so, you will be a slave to an ugly mind.

It will rule you and ruin you.

It will take away your joy of life.

For the God who created us and knows this wrote.

"A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things:
And an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things."
 Matthew 12:35

BAD things can happen to GOOD people.
Jesus himself was an example of this.

He gave of Himself in every way.
Even dying a horrific death, paying the price of sin for us.
Yet many still deny Him.....
Use His name as a swear word.
Tell jokes about Him.
Laugh about Him....

Yet For those who love Him.
He gives a change of heart.
And with that change of heart..
Comes peace..
It flows through you like a river..
It cleanses and re freshens..~~~

"Finally, brothers, whatever is True,
whatever is Noble, whatever is Right,
whatever is Pure, whatever is Lovely,
whatever is Admirable--
If anything is Excellent or Praiseworthy--
Think about Such Things." Philippians 4:8

Floods In My Town

Rain fall continues heavy with over 2ooml over 24 hrs.
Highway is cutting off. Semi's can't get through.

Huge shopping center back view.

Shops

The Soccer Oval with club house.

'Albert' Town Park and Skate Park
And its still rising.
Hubby Ray ventured out to take these this morning.
The main street of town is expecting to go under by this afternoon.
As yet the river at the side of the town has not peeked.
Everyone is safe.

Psalm 91

Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High
will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress,
my God, in whom I trust.”

Amazing!!

Genesis 1:31
God saw all that he had made, and it was very good. And there was evening, and there was morning—the sixth day.

It is beyond me to fathom the mind of God, I simply cannot even begin???
He created everything in the world and the universe.
And in that creation is detailed more than I could imagine.
The more you see of the world, the more you realise the enormity of Gods love for us.   What a mighty God we serve.

During our travels we visited the out-back gold mining town of Kalgoorlie in Western Australia.
I loved the architecture and old world style.

Every town has a memorial.
Lest we forget.

The railway station still displays an old style phone and letter box.

This road train servicing the area is three trailers long.
The longest I viewed was five trailers. Not fun to overtake on the road.

The Super Pit produces up to 850,000 ounces of gold every year.
It is the biggest gold open pit mine in the country.
             I couldn't believe the size.
Looking down from a hill lookout the huge mining trucks appear as toys.
They slowly wind up and down the hillside in a monotonous
            journey carrying the precious cargo.
             AMAZING!!

Colour Your World

COLOUR  your World- Its a gift from GOD *

Hi....Lovely to see you here again.... (I'm an Emu by the way.)
I am thinking about colours, where would we be without them?
Life would be so drab and depressing.

Colours lift your mood and make you feel happy.
Many creative artists have taken an old grey wall and face-lifted it with colour.

My hubby Ray standing in front of Steve Irwin's wall at Australia Zoo near where we live.
Sadly Steve went home to the Father in 2007 after receiving a stringray barb to the heart.
Steve was a happy hearted man, one that loved his family and devoted his life to animal conservation.

Aboriginal art on the side of a giant earth worm model in Victoria, Australia.

I would rather look at a picture than a wall....

Memories of the past depicted on a library wall.
So colour your world with happiness..

The Lords Word from Me to You..
"May the Lord bless thee and keep thee:
May the Lord make His face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee:
May the Lord lift up His countenance upon thee,
And, give thee, peace."Amen.

Bless the Lord

Psalm 103

"Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name."
I love you Lord, and I thank and praise you for all our many blessings.

White cheeked honey eater on a eucalyptus tree
I am reminded how God gives us everything and much of that, we take for granted.

Galah
The wide variety of birds and their different coloured plumage.
Are a joy to the eye and ear.

King parrot.
They help keep the insects under control.

Blue winged kookaburra
Known as the bush clock, you can reply on them to awaken you with their laughter at the same time every morning.
They are one bird welcome in the garden as they eat the snakes.
If they laugh in the middle of the day it means a change in the weather.

 Ring neck parrot
A Sweet intruder, and a joy to behold.

Water hen
Walks daintily across the lillypads seeking a feed.

The wedged tail eagle.
Stands three feet tall and has a wing span of up to eight feet wide.
This all seeing majestic wonder reminds me of our God.
He defends his territory by soaring high above the earth.
And keeps an ever vigilant watch.

"But those who wait upon the LORD
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint."
Isaiah 40:31

Bless the Lord, oh my soul for thou art mighty in all the earth.

Outback Wanderings

There is so much beauty in our world, and we found a special kind in the wanderings of the Australian outback.

Found, out back of Bourke.N.S.W.
Due to the wonderful earth colours it is an artists mecca.
This sculpture sat on a hill amid many others by artists from around the world.

The Wave Rock made of multi coloured granite stands fifteen metre high,
in Western Australia.

Termite nests in the Northern Territory stood like Giant Grave stones stretching across paddocks.

Bungle Bungle

The Bungle Bungle Range, in Purnululu National Park, Western Australia.
One of the most fascinating geological landmarks in Australia and best viewed from the air.

Baobab Tree in central Australia

Camels, Wombats and Kangaroos run free.

1 Corinthians 2:9

However, as it is written:
"No eye has seen,
no ear has heard,
no mind has conceived
what God has prepared for those who love him"
