Caloundra, Queensland

Sometimes you have to get away from it all.
Ray had a day out playing golf as a visitor at Pelican Waters golf resort.
This is the club of the 'Great White Shark' Greg Norman.

I used to live and work at Caloundra, so Ray asked if I'd like to visit my old haunts while he played..
I only lived a ten minute walk from Dickie Beach, where dogs are allowed to frolic on the sand.

A mother prepares her children with wet suits for surfing.
It's school holidays and mid winter but the day is too perfect to miss some fun.
The Pandansas Tree.
A sign informs  of rules which need to be observed.  Surf between the flags for safety.

Most of our beaches have shark nets to ward off attack.
Not all beaches allow dogs as apparently their smell is suppose to entice sharks.
If a school of dolphins are present, you know your safe..

Another sign... Can dogs read I wonder??
My dogs think they are people.
Well its a good place to lift your leg.

Everyone is busy doing their own thing. Walking, fishing and surfing.

It was nice to be back. I have many memories of here. Some good some sad..
It is a beautiful place to live.
Every night I fell asleep with the sound of waves crashing on the sand.
Every morning I wasn't working, I was walking and running along the shore.
For some reason, the pelicans don't visit here??

It was a beautiful day.
But I was glad to drive back home at the end of it..
OH, and Ray came second in A Division.

Akiane Captures and Draws Heaven and Jesus

This young girl is divinely tutored to capture on canvas what we only imagine to be so.
Is Heaven Real? Yes!!
Is Jesus the Son of God Real? Yes!!
Proof comes through a girl who was first touched by Heaven at four years of age.
My eternal hope, is in Jesus... And here is the proof He is real..

Buddha was a man
Mohammad was a man

But Jesus is the Son of God..He is God!

              1John 1:1
"In the beginning was The Word, and The Word was with God,
And The Word, was God.."
JESUS is still Alive today.

Four year old Colton Burpo "Heaven is for Real." also testifies to an out of the body experience.
Out of the many pictures he has seen of Jesus, none are as real as this one, he says.

Queensland Wooo Hooo !!!

There is no place like home, we all love where we live.
Part of my heart is still in Rogersville, Tennessee, I love it there also.

But in Queensland I want to share our news.
We are (mostly) over the floods..

This is a sunburned country, and a land of diversity.
If its not floods then its bushfire's..
But life goes on and when everyone pulls together.
We share the load, and help carry each others burdens.

My beautiful friend Carol, from http://naturallycarol.blogspot.com/
has so kindly been making and sending cushions to everyone to cheer them up.
What a beautiful heart.
Carol is an encouragement to all.
And most often, to me!!!

Our motto in Queensland is:
Beautiful one day and  perfect the next.

We are now into autumn yet many people wear summer clothes almost all year around.
Not me, I feel the cold, and like my jumper and hot water bottle..
This gives Ray a good laugh.

Some of the highlights of this beautiful state are:

We have hundreds of kilometres of mainland beaches..
Ours is Rainbow, on the Sunshine Coast.
Ray loves to drive along close to the rising tide.

I used to live, at Dickie beach.
Every day I'd walk or jog along the sand.
I love the smell of ocean air, and the sound of the waves crashing.
This is one beach where dogs are permitted.
They have a wonderful time, meeting and greeting each other.

                      The bird life is phenomenal.
Rainbow Lorakeets fly in the dozens.
Although..the cheeky things also eat our fruit.

This female King Parrot is spoilt.
Ray plants sunflowers especially for them to enjoy.

My friend Sharon snapped these yellow Crested White Cockatoo,
on her fence eating a meal.

Tropical fruit abounds.
We have mango, mandarin, and avocado trees.
This is our Paw Paw Tree...

Pineapple plantations grow close by.
I adore pineapple, and they help in weight loss.

Ray and I on a visit to Steve Irwin's Australia Zoo.
This was the truck he took on all of his outback treks.
(We all miss that good natured man)

The famous crazy Ettamogah Pub.
Seeing is believing..
This is the maddest building.

A day out at the camel races is a great laugh.
You can never predict what they will do.

The Great Barrier Reef goes for hundreds of kilometres.
You can snorkel or sight the pretty coral and hundreds of fish varieties from glass bottomed boats.

Come and visit.

"For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they (people)are  without excuse."

Our TIME Bank

Ecclesiastes 3:1
"There is a time for everything,
and a season for every activity under the heavens."

I found this profounding.
(Author unknow.)

Each of us has a BANK.
Its name is TIME.

Every morning, it credits you with 86,400 seconds.

Every night it writes off, whatever you have failed to invest to good purpose.

It carries over no balance. It allows no overdraft.

Each day it opens a new account for you.

Each night it burns up the left over.

If you fail to use the day’s deposits, the loss is yours.

There is no going back.

There is no drawing against the “tomorrow”.

You must live in the present of today’s deposits.

Invest it to get the utmost in health, happiness, and success!

The clock is running.......... Make the most of today.

To realize the value of ONE YEAR, ask a student who failed a grade.

To realize the value of ONE MONTH, ask a mother who gave birth to a pre-mature baby.

To realize the value of ONE WEEK, ask the editor of a weekly newspaper.

To realize the value of ONE HOUR, ask the lovers who are waiting to meet.

To realize the value of ONE MINUTE, ask a person who missed the train.

To realize the value of ONE SECOND, ask a person who just avoided an accident.

To realize the value of ONE MILLISECOND, ask the person who won a silver medal in the Olympics.

And Praise God,
there is NO concern about Time,
In Heaven.

New Years Day In The Sun

After all the rain it is a thrill to have the sun back and shining.
Too much of any particular weather pattern can be too much.

We took our time driving back to Queensland from New South Wales.
Along the way we stopped off at Corinda for a break and a stroll.

I love the blueness of the Pacific Ocean. (Facing south)

The children are on their Christmas vacation.
So famillies camp on the hilltop.
Everyone enjoys a relaxed happy time.
(Facing East)

One holiday maker informed me of a family of dolphins which reside here and swim with those they trust.
He had the pleasure of a baby dolphin accompany him that morning.
(Facing North)

A seagull looks for tit bits and keeps a close eye on me.

What a beatiful world we live in.

 Psalms 1–1-3

Blessed is the one
who does not walk in step with the wicked
or stand in the way that sinners take
or sit in the company of mockers,
but whose delight is in the law of the LORD,
and who meditates on his law day and night.

That person is like a tree planted by streams of water,
which yields its fruit in season

Miracle Magnesium

Illness is like a Crocodile, it wants to devour!

You can't kill it, but you can capture and try to control it, with Gods help.

"He sent out his Word (Jesus) and healed them, snatching them from the door of death."
Psalms 107:20. NIV

I felt ill all day on Thursday.
Being a very sensitive person I take on board everyone else's problem..
I pray for them and pain for them.
I have to continually remind myself...
"HEY, you are not God, stop trying to do His business!!!
I am a person who, ..... Loves too Much...
I have also been the Scapegoat for others who feel life and God have dished them a raw deal.

So on Thursday it all caught up...
Plus I forgot to take my usual 25mg Lopressor (Metropolol)B.D.
I believe very much in natural therapy and for years have taken Magnesium.
Yet...this also had been run out of and not replaced...

Everything is for a reason and a purpose and sometimes God wants to get our attention.
How better than to make us STOP!
And stop I did... I couldn't do anything else.
My heart raced, my blood pressure rose, and I felt so very ill.
(SERVER'S ME RIGHT, I should know better)
I suffered resting for a few hours...MAD, but medical people always, assess themselves.
(PLEASE, if this ever happens to you,  get to a hospital)

Finally I remembered the blood pressure medication and took it.
Ah..that made me feel a bit better...but I still wasn't well!
Next day I hit on it!
MAGNESIUM...I needed it.
Not with calcium as we have plenty of that in our water...
Just Magnesium!
Got the tablets and took them... Now I am feeling so much better.

Still need to rest some and drink plenty of water..

Praise God.

Many people don't realise the value of Magnesium (Epsom Salts)
It is God given though minerals.

Magnesium can help those who suffer with Chronic fatigue syndrome, Heart disease, Angina, High blood pressure, Poor circulation, Stress, Depression and anxiety, Poor sleep, Constipation, Muscle cramps, Migraine headaches, Arthritis, Fibromyalgia, Asthma, Diabetes, Facial and eye twitching, Muscle tightness, and many other health problems.

Frazer Island....Giving Thanks

Psalm 104:5-9

Listen to this passage

"He set the earth on its foundations;
it can never be moved.

You (God) covered it with the watery depths as with a garment;
the waters stood above the mountains.
But at your rebuke the waters fled,
at the sound of your thunder they took to flight;
they flowed over the mountains,

they went down into the valleys,
to the place you assigned for them.
You set a boundary they cannot cross;
never again will they cover the earth.

Today I rejoice in God my Savour.
I give thanks for all He is and all He has given."

A day out on Frazer Island.

Crossing the sand at Rainbow Beach to the Barge.

Carries approximately 15 vehicles.
Hubby Ray

Off the Barge and onto Frazer.

75 miles of beach sea, sun and sand to explore.

Ahhh the serenity.

Give way to aircraft landing.

Ship wreck of the S.S. Maheno 1935.

Drive down the sandy bush tracks and hope no one comes from the opposite direction. Listen to the birds. Look at the many fresh water lakes.

Spot a Dingo (Australian wild dog).
He was so pretty.

Stop at the tropical shops for refreshments.

It's nice to go out for the day, but of so nice to get home again.
*Give Thanks With A Grateful Heart...

AMAZING "FIREPROOF" TESTIMONY

Eve would like to share her testimony of what the movie FIREPROOF did for her and her marriage.
Eve, (Not Crystal,) writes this.....................................................................
When you least expect it, miracles happen.

Friday night (22 Jan 2010) was just another regular Friday night. Nothing spectacular planned or anticipated. Months ago, a friend gave me a DVD called Fireproof. I've not really had any inclination to watch it, and while having nothing to do on Friday evening, everyone else fast asleep, nothing worth watching on TV, I decided to pop it into the machine. The first 30 minutes didn't really draw me in, but I stuck it out as I really had nothing better to do. Well. By the end of the movie I was sobbing like I haven't sobbed in years. The tears were literally streaming down my face, my body was shaking uncontrollably and my heart was filled with so much sadness that I honestly thought that I could die from the unbearable heartache.

I went outside, and with my eyes filled with tears, I turned my head to the heavens and asked God to heal me, to make me whole, to take my life and make it His. I asked Jesus to come into my heart and give me life. I honestly don't know how long I was sitting outside, it could have been minutes or hours, the duration is irrelevant, what I experienced was true GLORY.

It was as if I could feel the pain Jesus felt while he was hanging on the Cross, as if I shared the loneliness when His Father deserted Him so that he could bear the burden of all my sins. The pain was unreal, it was out of this world, it was something that my words will never be able to express. And then, it became warmer in my heart and soul than it had ever been. My entire being was filled with peace, love, happiness, forgiveness and above all, God's supernatural love.

I fell to my knees and worshipped God like I have never worshipped Him before.

I cannot explain what happened, or how, or why it happened. All I can do is to thank God that I now know that I will NEVER feel that type of loneliness or hurt ever again. All the glory to God!

I have realised now, that our war is not with each other, it is not here on earth, it is in the spiritual realm, and God is calling each one of us to fight for our right to the eternal life. God is saddened by the mediocrity that has become "religion" and "Christianity". God wants each one of us to experience His unconditional love - but, for that, we have to stop living for ourselves, and start living for Him.

When I testified in church this morning, I saw people's eyes filling with tears, I could see the hunger they have for that amazing love from our Heavenly Father and I prayed that each one of them could feel what I have been feeling since Friday night.

Thank you Heavenly Father for granting me the privilege of being your child. Thank you Lord Jesus for living in my heart. Thank you Holy Spirit for guiding me and teaching me.

I am now, more than ever, a willing student of God.

The power of Gods Love

We can never underestimate the power of Gods love and protection.
How many times do you want to go somewhere only to have your plans cancelled at the last moment?
How often do you feel sad about missing out on an occasion not realising there may be a very good reason for it?

Next time you miss out, praise God. You are in His care and His love surrounds and protects.

I have seen into the supernatural realm on occasion.
I am very aware that life is not always as we see it in the natural.

"If you say, “The LORD is my refuge,”

and you make the Most High your dwelling,
no harm will overtake you,
no disaster will come near your tent.
For he will command his angels concerning you
to guard you in all your ways." Psalm 91: 9-11

Peter Anthony ... Blessings.

My little car struggled up the steep incline only to be stopped on the crest by red signal light's. Glancing downwards for a moment my eyes then averted once more towards the road.
Transfixed I stared as a huge coach, maneuvering around the tight corner looming towards me and almost hitting my car by mere inches.

My mind wandered to think of my eldest son Peter.
He drives monster's such as this for a living.
It's his birthday on Saturday (30th) and he is hundreds of miles from family.
Now residing in north west Queensland, he drives a variety of different coaches, catering for the mines.
I pray his day is bright and that the coming year is full of the goodness of the Lord shining with Joy upon him.
I commemorate my son and all he means to those of us who love him.

His name means:
Peter:  The Rock
Anthony:  Worthy of Praise
God loves Him.

He was one of those perfect babies who kept to a timed routine.
Always a sunny child, he looked at life though rose coloured glasses of love.
  Nehemiah 8: 19
"For the joy of the LORD is your strength."

Even as a toddler, he reached out to take his big sister's hand.
Family have always been priority to Peter.

Femia and Peter

John 3:18

"My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue,
but in deed and in truth."
Quick witted, he always has something funny to say
He has the ability for turning sadness into joy.

Picture here on the right of his sister Femia, with her husband David, two of his cousins, Vanessa and Brad and his younger sister Daniella.

At ten years of age he plagued me for a little brother.
God granted him the desire of his heart.
Pictured proudly here with Lee-Joel, brother and gift from God.

So my son.

My prayer for you today is.

"A wife of noble character YOU can find.

She is worth far more than rubies.
You have full confidence in her
                                and lack nothing of value.
She brings You good, not harm,
all the days of her life...
(and you Bless each other)" AMEN
Proverbs 31:10-12
May the Lord Bless thee and keep thee..
safe,
happy,
and strong
in Him always

Amazing!!

Genesis 1:31
God saw all that he had made, and it was very good. And there was evening, and there was morning—the sixth day.

It is beyond me to fathom the mind of God, I simply cannot even begin???
He created everything in the world and the universe.
And in that creation is detailed more than I could imagine.
The more you see of the world, the more you realise the enormity of Gods love for us.   What a mighty God we serve.

During our travels we visited the out-back gold mining town of Kalgoorlie in Western Australia.
I loved the architecture and old world style.

Every town has a memorial.
Lest we forget.

The railway station still displays an old style phone and letter box.

This road train servicing the area is three trailers long.
The longest I viewed was five trailers. Not fun to overtake on the road.

The Super Pit produces up to 850,000 ounces of gold every year.
It is the biggest gold open pit mine in the country.
             I couldn't believe the size.
Looking down from a hill lookout the huge mining trucks appear as toys.
They slowly wind up and down the hillside in a monotonous
            journey carrying the precious cargo.
             AMAZING!!
